5. Pinball

Nintendo created the game Pinball in 1983. The NES version of Pinball was released in February 2nd, 1984, October 18th, 1985 and in January 9th, 1986. The virtual console was released back in December 2006. There are many ways to play Pinball now. In 1981 Donkey Kong was released. The game is all about having to jump over a variety of obstacles and dodging things. Jumpman was later known as Mario. Alexey Pajitnov from the Soviet Union was the one who programmed and designed the original Tetris. On June 6, 1984 it was released. In the 100th issue of the popular Electronic Gaming Monthly they announced thatTetris was in first place and known as the most popular and “Greatest Game of All Time”. Over 70 million copies had been sold. Tetris changed over the years since its first release. The next game was Tetris DX and that was also very popular. In the latest versions of Tetris the scoring goals differ compared to the Tetris for the NES. Dr. Richard Haier, Et Al. said that prolonged activity of the game Tetris can also help with making the brain more efficient and even when a fan is just playing Tetris moderately it can help the brain with reasoning, critical thinking, processing, language plus it increases the thickness of the cerebral cortex.
