Real Men Love "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka"

Action? Check.

Insane Dialogue? Check.

Hilarious (to the point of ridiculous) Moments? Check.

At least one chick with an insane body? Check...well...almost...but that takes us back to point 3, which makes up for it.

Written and directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, I'm Gonna Get You Sucka! joins the ranks of great comedies that Real Men Love.

The Plot

When Jack Spade returns from the army to discover his little brother, June Bug, has died from "O.G." (over-gold, or overdosing on too many cheap gold plated chains), Jack gathers together the city's washed up heroes to take on city's crime lord, Mr. Big.

Violence and hilarity ensue.

The Characters

Jack Spade (Keenen Ivory Wayans) is fresh out of the Army and returns home to tragedy. Though his heart is in the right place, we quickly discover that he has no idea how to lead in battle. He's inept, scared, and bordering on stupid for the duration of the movie until he finally learns what being a man is really about.

John Slade (Bernie Casey) becomes Spade's mentor on all things hero & man-related, teaching him how to fight, pick up women, and not be such a punk. Seriously, watch this all the way through...

Flyguy (Antonio Fargas) is the pimp of the year. That's all you need to know. Well, that, and he has the best pair of platform shoes EVER. TRUST ME.

Kung Fu Joe (Steve James) is representative of the 70's obsession with kung fu which eventually spawned the Wu-Tang Clan. He's also got some of the best scenes in the movie.

Hammer & Slammer (Isaac Hayes and Jim Brown) are two of the hardest mofos ever...especially if you only order one rib. You'll notice this is also where Chris Rock got his start...

A Movie Literally FULL of WIN

I could literally post the entire movie scene by scene because it's just THAT funny.

...You've gotta have the obligatory suit-up scene...

...And you know you've thought your girl acted like this around THAT time...

I've left out a TON of the great scenes (Kalinga and Jan Brady, Pimp of the Year, Take the window or take the stairs...) but you definitely get the idea. This is a GREAT movie to be enjoyed by Real Men far and wide. I can only hope this summer's upcoming Black Dynamite takes a few cues from this...
