Russo brothers jpg 7782e353 featured News The Russo Brothers Talk Civil War, Infinity War, and Various Other Marvel Wars on the Horizon

Anthony Russo and his brother—and Nick DiPaolo lookalike—Joe are two of the luckiest guys in Hollywood. They started out directing criminally under-seen comedies like Welcome to Collinwood, as well as ten episodes of Arrested Development, before landing the job directing Captain America: The Winter Soldier. After crushing it with that film, they became the new go-to guys at Marvel when it was announced that they would helm Civil War as well as the two-part Avengers: Infinity War, both of which they chatted about in a recent interview.

Ever since Ryan Reynolds Ferris Buellered his way through the Deadpool end credits, people have been speculating about whom they'll cast to play Cable in the sequel. Just last week, director Tim Miller stated that any casting will have to wait until they've fleshed out the character on the page, and since he and screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are in the process of doing just that, they're talking a little bit more about what we can expect to see in the sequel.

The phrase "I can tell you but then I'd have to kill you" is never quite so menacing as it is when it's uttered by Mads Mikkelsen. Everyone's favorite Dane—next to Cook—is ready to spill some beans about his character in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but bear in mind that he prefaces this information with the aforementioned death threat, so read on at your own peril.

While the marketing team certainly bungled this thing by dubbing it the "Ultimate Edition" rather than the "Fully Extended Edition," a longer cut of Batman v Superman: Dawn of the Dead is on its way with the originally promised additional thirty minutes of material.

With the exception of the never ending discussion about Jared Leto's brilliance, it seems the only thing coming out of camp Suicide Squad these days are impassioned defenses against bad word of mouth. Whether Jai Courtney's making boneheaded statements about the reshoots or that they're even doing reshoots in the first place, it seems like this team is on the defensive all the time.

Robert downey jr png 9d774011 featured Opinions RDJ Goes into Never Say Never Mode Regarding 'Iron Man 4'

It's hard to take almost anything Robert Downey Jr. says regarding Marvel and the MCU seriously because he reverses positions on things far too often. In the last year alone he's gone from saying he didn't want to do Iron Man 4, to saying that Civil War is like his own personal Iron Man 4, to now saying he could do one more. Someone wake me when he makes up his mind.

When we got our first glimpse of Harley Quinn's origin in that second Suicide Squad trailer, people got up in arms because it looked like they were cribbing her most recent origin from DC's New 52 reset in 2007. It looks like that won't be the only thing borrowed from New 52 continuity, however, as Katana actress Karen Fukuhara has confirmed that her sword, known as The Soultaker, will indeed contain the soul of her dead husband Maseo.

Whether you hated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, liked it alright but mostly didn't care for it, or are lying to yourself and others about it, there's one thing that's undeniable: Wonder Woman's official entrance into the film, theme music and all, was the best single scene in the entire film. Now, Warner Brothers has made the 45 second clip of her entrance available without the other 152 minutes and 15 seconds of movie surrounding it, proving conclusively that they're beginning to get it.

Inarguably the darkest title yet to be tackled by DC and WB Animation, Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's The Killing Joke will also be the first R-rated feature released by the studio since the Watchmen tie-in Tales of the Black Freighter. That's right, the studio that managed to turn Frank Miller's DKR into a PG-13 film basically decided that there'd be no point in adapting The Killing Joke if it weren't going to be R-rated, and while this is a green band trailer, there are some tantalizing hints at the darkness to come.

Deadpool enjoys beer jpg 6ab3e7f7 featured News Further Proving He's Actually Deadpool In Real Life, Ryan Reynolds Donates 5K To Theater Defense Fund

So in true "Deadpool" fashion, Ryan Reynolds (or at least someone using Reynolds' name) donated 5K to Brewvie's GoFundMe account, which was set up after the theater was fined 75,000 bucks after The Utah Department of Alcohol and Fun Control sent undercover agents to purchase beer while watching Deadpool at Brewvies. Utah's state laws say you can’t have alcohol and nudity in the same place, because Utah is a place where fun goes to die. The initial hearing was postponed. The lawyer for the theater stated that they plan to sue the state, because the law is unconstitutional. So was it Reynolds who donated that cash, or an anonymous good Samaritan who also loves booze and butts donating under Reynolds' name? Considering Reynolds tweeted, in response to the controversy, Thank God, they've found a way to legislate fun, I'd say there's a pretty good chance it might be him.
