It seems that we are. I had no complaints with working today. Another days wage and there is nothing to do so I can watch movies and play on this site. I was actually surprised by the number of people who are in my office today. They are normally pretty good about not working near holidays.

janel, I'm sad to admit (today) I'm from Pittsburgh and you guys made us look like shit. The Steelers are a really frustrating team to root for. They are so off and on. As for beating Miami, don't feel bad, we barely beat them. I think they'd have come up with a big upset over us if the field were in better shape.

Lately, I agree with you Chris. But at some points in time she has not looked so ridiculously skinny. A quick google image search will prove that.

Currently, the Steelers are basically playing their second string. All of the key players on the team are hurt. They don't really even stand a chance in the playoffs. To be fair, all I'm really looking forward to is watching the Penguins play outside New Years day @ 1 PM.

lol.. ok good point killer.... Yes.. I like Hockey. Havent had the chance to go to a NHL game yet & havent had much time to follow it recently.. but I used to go to alot of the college games for UMBC) last year and really got into it.

Chris, you really liked that movie that much? I didn't really think it was that good. I only watched it with about 2/3 of my attention, but what I saw of it only drew mediocre laughter.

Janel, I feel your pain. I've been to 2 NHL games in my life (they are really fun, I highly recommend it!), but lately have not had time to follow games at all. I try to keep up as much as possible, but I've probably only seen 1/3 of the games. Last season I was always up to date on the games and scores and stuff...this year, not so much.

Hockey isnt a sport. Its an activity. And its only popular in select areas of the country and canada. I thought i said that the other day. maybe im cranky cuz everyone in MN is so crazy into it.

That may have something to do with it Whale. MN is too close to Canada, you get an overwhelming northern influence, I'm sure. In Pittsburgh, on the other hand, it's never shoved down your throat so you like it just because you enjoy it, not because it's the culture to enjoy it. I remember taking a trip into northern Canada and even though we were passing through small towns and such they still had enough money to make a curling and ice hockey rink.

Curling, now there's a sport to watch in the winter olympics! haha

Hahaha i tried curling once, fell on my ass and nearly broke myself, but i was very drunkso it was funny enough for me to really not care.
