In the realm of television and pop culture, the TV Mom has become a staple of beauty, loyalty and longing. Think about the TV actresses you currently fantasize about to an embarrassing degree, and chances are they play a mother. It’s in this spirit that I dug deep and emerged with what I personally felt were the hottest moms in television history. Some because of their raw sexuality, some because of their attitude, and some because they like to tear bastards apart with their bare hands. You’ll see what I mean.

Honorable Mention – Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham) – Gilmore Girls

It goes without saying that one of the cutest moms on television would be played by one of the cutest actresses on the planet, Lauren Graham. While I can’t say that I was a regular Gilmore Girls viewer, one needn’t be a fan to be justified in thinking about doing horrible, horrible things to Ms. Graham.

Honorable Mention – Claudia Finnerty (Megyn Price) – Grounded For Life

Claudia would have ranked higher on our countdown had Grounded For Life been a more popular show in the early part of this decade. Megyn Price is just stunningly adorable in that she almost reminds you of a friend’s mom in real-life. She’s curvy, loud, made a few bad decisions in life and likes to wear low-cut tops. Furthermore, you always find yourself trying to spend the night at this friend’s house, regardless of if you really like hanging out with this person or not. Claudia is that kind of mom; she’ll make you rethink your evening for absolutely no reason.

#5 – Debra Barone (Patricia Heaton) – Everybody Loves Raymond

One of the most popular sitcoms in American history deserves one of the hottest and down-to-Earth representations of the modern TV mom. What’s more, her children were rarely shown or eluded to during the run of Everybody Loves Raymond, which was an added bonus. If there’s one thing nicer than an attractive mom, it’s not having to hang out with her kids.

#4 – Tami Taylor (Connie Britton) – Friday Night Lights

We love Tami Taylor for a number of reasons. Her hair. Her strong-willed and positive demeanor. Her freckles. The way she’s amazingly brought to life by Connie Britton. We also like that she seems to be the type you can have a beer with, stumble out into the parking lot with, and perhaps even have a chance at sleeping with. If you can think of anything else you’d want out of someone elses’ mom, I’m all ears.

#3 – Rebecca ‘Becky’ Donaldson-Katsopolis (Lori Loughlin) – Full House

For nostalgia’s sake, I can’t think of a more awesome mom as a kid than Becky Donaldson. First off, she didn’t even become a wife and mother until later on in the Full House timeline, giving us the rare chance to see an already hot character actually become a hot mother. How she and Uncle Jesse managed to give birth to such mongoloid-looking twins is beyond me.

#2 – Niki/Jessica Sanders (Ali Larter) - Heroes

She’s hot. She’s dangerous. She’s psychotic. She has multiple personalities. She’s more than capable of tearing your face off if you cross her. What’s cool about Niki/Jessica Sanders is that she’s reminiscent of your ex-girlfriend. You know that this girl is absolutely nothing but trouble, but it won’t stop you from wading into the shark tank on a regular basis.

#1 – Marge Simpson (Voiced by Julie Kavner) – The Simpsons

For over 20 years now, Marge Simpson has been the mother of a generation. She keeps her house clean. She’s kept an amazing figure after giving birth to three children. She keeps her husband happy. She’s posed for Maxim. Animated or otherwise, Marge is the hottest TV Mom of all-time, because she’s the quintessential mother of all-time; the mom that we wish we had. Or better yet, the mom that we wish lived next door.
