Which major metropolitan police force would win in an all out brawl… the NYPD or the LAPD?
NYPD
Strengths: They, in theory, keep the biggest city in America safe. They're 36,127 people strong. And, most notably (and most controversially) they have a a long track record of shooting and killing first, asking questions later. Which is fucked up, I guess, but these fuckers clearly can aim a gun.
Weaknesses: A large portion of them are barely trained dicks who are in it for the pension. They wouldn't be too useful in the brawl.
Crooked Cop Gang Affiliation: The Mafia
LAPD
Strengths: Their anti gang unit CRASH is basically a fucking gang (killing mofos and selling drugs and ROBBING BANKS and shit), making the crooked LAPD cops the most bad ass crooked cops around. A large portion of their officers are in decent shape.
Weaknesses: They've only got 9,000 officers. Their regular, non CRASH, scandals are just racist and annoying and show no additonal fighting skills.

ex nyer, born and raised. Most nypd officers are nice and reasonable unless you have a weapon and refuse to drop it. I have a few friends on the force.
LAPD, easy. throw in the lenco bear and make it a matter of swat vs swat? ny has it. Most likely, however, in this fight the nypd would offer to buy the lapd a beer.
