Unfortunately the Green Lantern's power is limited solely by his imagination, so by definition the Lantern would win. However, if this were a contest of getting laid...Iron Man would own.

well to be more specific in regards to Lantern's weakness his ring does have a limit in energy but then so does Iron Man's suits but if Iron Man runs out of power in one suit he does have twenty spares whereas Lantern can't just slide on another ring and go to work so I'd say if would be a pitched battle until it comes down to the nitty gritty and depending on which green lantern we're talking about I think Tony Stark is more solid in the tactics than most of the Lantern's so in the end I'd give it to Iron Man

Depending which Green Lantern Iron would have to fight against. Kyle Rayner possesed a ring which didn´t have the yellow weakness.
But either way...the lantern ring is the most powerful weapon in the universe...so no chance for iron man.
