well the power in my neighborhood just went out and I nearly beat up my wall, so I doubt it'll take much to get me there

There's not much I can do about the gas price. I just bend over and take it!!

I'd be ready for a fight if someone cut me off at the pump like they did to that doctor, although I'd use my fists not a tire iron. Shit gas in California is almost $4.50 right now. I'm ready to kill after dumping 30-40 bucks in my pickup and not even getting a half tank. I'm considering getting a moped if gas gets anywhere near $6 in the future. Luckily for me I just bought a 97 Corolla and doubled my milage compared to my V8 pickup.

I just figured it up today and to completely fill up my pickup would be $120. Shit I remember when I could drive 1400 miles on $73. Those were the days. Not even 8 years ago I could get a gallon of gas for 0.98cents.

I've already killed a man by filling him with $25 worth of regular, and sticking a road flair up his ass.

This is going to get serious in a real hurry, but elsewhere in the world first. Water, food and fuel are all skyrocketing in price and while we whine, there are billions who don't have the luxury of complaining about high prices eating into their savings accounts. Those will be the ones to set this off.

The next five to ten years are going to be fucked.

Food is only going to get higher with higher gas prices. Milk, eggs and other produce have already jumped 45% in the last year. The worst is yet to come though, cause soon BEER will jump in price and that's one thing I don't want to see happen.

The gov't be all up in the oil business! Especially in my state! California was one of only three states to require the removal of the octane booster MTBE in January 2004. This reduced the gasoline supply by almost 10%. Also, the California government has forced gasoline stations to install double-walled underground tanks, which forced many stations to rip perfectly good single-walled tanks out of the ground. CA also imposes the harshest emissions requirements in the country, which make necessary the use of a more costly, special blend of gasoline not produced anywhere but in California. Is it just a coincidence that CA has the highest gas prices?

anyway, as i work at a gas station, i know some people are prolly already at a point that they want someone to fight cause gas is so expensive... i dont get a fucking penny cheaper than anybody else, but everyone seems to think i care that their giant truck/van got over 100 to fill it up.. 'my h2 took 150', blah blah blah, if ur gunna drive the car, u gotta pay the gas. im ready to fight some of these dickheads sometimes cause i have to listen to their complaints and apologize for things that 'i did wrong' when i have absolutely no control over the prices..

somtimes i get the urge to ask them what they do for a living and then say something like 'i dont come up to your mcdonalds and bitch because my cheeseburger went up 10 cents this year but you come to my job and complain constantly' but i think they wouldnt understand it

I feel your pain Spoonz I too worked for a gas station and everyone thought we got a discount on gas. True people are stupid and will complain no matter what. I say if you can't afford your vehicle then just fucking walk.

My local paper ran an article saying the Saudis finally realized that shit's getting ridiculous and are increasing production of oil. They're calling on their buddies to do the same. While we may not see $1 a gallon gas again, this will definitely help a good bit. Links to come...

My truck gets about 10 mpg, thanks to 35" tires and a 350 under the hood. It makes those little imports piss their pants, but it kills my bank account.

Here in Cali if you pay with cash you can usually get the gas 5-10 cents cheaper at certain stations. Credit cards are the reason gas stations are close to going out of business cause they're paying fees each time you use it.

Oscar and I are trading in the Prius for a 50cc Honda (dumb and dumber style) and heading to the beaches of mexico.

Gas price today is sucking my life force and which partly reason why I'm happy with my Harvey-Davidson nightrod or Suzuki Boulevard m50 bikes for their 50 mpg.

People tend to forget that oil is used to manufacture plastics as much, if not more, than it's used as pure fuel. Given that pretty well everything available contains at least SOME plastic, expect everything you plan to buy to increase in price shortly.

I still like my 30 mpg Passat. But I WILL be investing in a motorcycle next year no matter how much skin it costs me. I hate the fucking morons who all drive gigantic SUVs and then bitch about the price in gas, if it wasnt for those fucking hogs we'd all be better off. There would be more gas for the rest of us, there would be less accidents (have you SEEN how many people drive cars that they have no business being in?), there would be more road for me to pass their ass! Everyone's happy.
