DV's Qs, Ts & As: Gambling

I've won big a couple times. Although winning big for me is under $1000. One time I went to Vegas with a buddy and decided to play my favorite machine, The Wheel of Fortune. So I try it at Excaliber and win $160, then we head over to MGM and I win $120 there. So then I go over to Luxor and I win $160 then one last stop at another casino and I win $120. So all in all I win like $560 in the span of an hour which was great cause I only had $200 to spend when I got into town. Another time my buddy took me to this casino in Northern Cali i'd never been to. So I sit down at this machine on the side of the casino no ones playing and I win $360 then decide to play a little more and end up with like $600 although I only walked out with a little under $500. But I lost way more with all the times of trying to win. I don't like losing money though so I don't play as often as I use to.....

I'm sure Mark would have thousands of stories to tell, if only he was still around....

i aint much of a gambler but my first time gamblin' and in vegas no less I won 1400 playing the quarter slots. Not bad. Haven't won since, but have only played a few more times so I figure I am still up 1200 or so.

I won some tickets off of the radio to a Bo Diddly concert that was right next to a river boat gambling place(whatever the fuck they call 'em). I got totalled on Jack Daniels and Boulevard (a local micro-brewery) Drafts, and we went into the boat where I was playing slot machines. I hit one for $2500, but was too fuckin' wasted to even know what all the noise was about; a woman sitting there had to explain to my alcohol addled brain what was going on.

My first time to the horse track I won $400.

My first time to Atlantic City I lost $900.

Those are my biggest wins and losses, respectively.

Bettin' on the ponies is the only time i've won decent money. And proceeded to piss it away. oh well, it really wasn't mine in the first place.

One time I bet that Matty would win the biggest douche in the world award...I made millions! HAHA

I went to an indian casino with a buddy from work. I played slots for about 10 minutes to warm up and he's like "Dude, you wanna just go?"

He dropped like $250 already on the blackjack tables.

I was with my brother in Tahoe and we spent like 5 hours at the $5 blackjack table just for the free drinks, we were only betting with $80 each and by the time he was piss drunk his fund was all gone so he stole one of my chips and played it and won, he bet all of it again and won, then all of it again and won again, and he went up like that until he was close to a $1000, by then I pulled him lose of the table cause that was pretty good and his dumb ass was probably gonna lose it all

and the dumbest running bet I have is with a friend that's a die hard cubs fan, we bet every year that they get a bellow .500 average ($100 which I lost last year and am probably gonna lose again) I REALLY pissed him off like 3 years ago telling him that they sucked donkey balls and they weren't gonna win a world series before the 100 years so he bet me $500 that the cubs were gonna win the world series that year before the season started and of course, he lost, my buddy is kind of a moron

Does getting married count as a gambling loss?

$2000 was on the table while playing in between. that was the biggest and luckiest bet ever.

well i lost $180 bucks on a single hand of Texas Hold'em, went like this I've got Q7 of spades, the flop is AJ of spades and 8 of diamonds, the turn comes 10 of spades, and i go all in I mean seriously I've got Ace high flush and only one player left against me only one ace on the board one jack so there's no way he can beat me even if he has pocket pair or even a straight and he can't have a royal flush because I had the Q so literally there is only one card in the entire deck that could beat me at that point the river is pointless and we show and guess what he's got: K6 of SPADES that bastard beats me with the one damn card that could beat me and bye bye $180 bucks

I was at a craps table looking to get in on the action, and no joke, this one guy rolled for an hour straight. Everyone at the table was winning left and right and it took him a goddamn hour to finally crap out. It was only a small casino near my school (I made spending money by gambling pretty much) so it was only $2 a bet, but most of the guys there all made over a thousand bucks. Crazy. Most I've won there is a few hundred at craps once.
