Manly as toughest? I read somewhere the 3 hardest sports are wrestling swimming and soccer, though i dont consider swimming a sport. so ill go wrestling/MMA (and i dont mean the WWE stuff, i mean the olympics shit) then soccer, then football (simply for it being a collision sport).

Least, ... golf is hard to do well (if youve played you know, but its just not hard physically), baseball is a joke, basketball slightly less so...
Ill go baseball (hell they hardly break a sweat most of the time).

I was a state almost champ in wrestling and it is without a doubt the hardest sport you can do in High School

at least baseball has a whole fuckload of arguing and screaming at the authorities (umps) which is always manly... but in the end it is just a bunch fo dudes playing with a hard shaft and balls

I don't know if you call it a sport or an event, but running with the bulls in Pamplona Spain is pretty manly. The Isle of Mann race is pretty manly too. 224 people have died in the first 100 years of that race.

the whole padded argument is crap. in rugby you might be going half the speed as on the ice. there for twice as hard of a hit and a lot of times, there's no dodging it. Football, those guys are bigger than rugby players and just as fast.

If the coach would have let me wrestle in 105 lbs. weight class, we could've taken state!!

Golf may be un-manly, but nothing like working Thursday - Sunday and even if you make the cut and blow ass the last day, you're still walking away with atleast 5k. Not bad for something I do drunk and stoned.

I don't think there is any question, Mixed Martial Arts is the manliest sport. You need a working knowledge of most successful styles of fighting from the last thousand years and get/give ass-beatings, so yeah. And don't give the "two guys rolling around on the floor" gay excuse. If you don't know jujitsu you would lose the use of your arms pretty quick to anyone who has even dabbled in combatives.

Least manly sports: Golf, NASCAR, swimming, & pretty much any organized sport on TV because they are all overpaid celebutards

MMA is the toughest. American football is also right up there. The whole argument that rugby is somehow manlier because they don't wear the pads is bullshit. American football players wear pads because they are bigger, stronger, and faster and would seriously hurt each other, which doesn't seem like much of a problem until you realize that the professional teams have MILLIONS of dollars wrapped up in these guys and they expect them to be able to play a full season. If you put Ray Lewis and Dwight Freeney on a rugby field and teach them the rules, they would kill everybody on the other team and burn, rape, and pillage their cities.

Least manly: Golf

I was a HS wrestler as well, heavyweight, though i never got all the way up to the 275 limit. It was always funny to watch other guys have to cut weight. And I took fourth at the level below state my junior year. My senior year i had (previously mentioned) "issues" with my coach, hes an ass btw. And anyone who cares to mention that gay argument can come get some, then Mark can have whatever's left over. If theres one group of athletes that i would think twice about messing with here at college here it would be the wrestlers. Did i ever mention that i came one state champion ring away from beating a former Guard for the Tampa Bay Bucs? I tried to roll through a head throw just like i did countless times to the JV kid (who happened to be a National Champion greco roman wrestler) And the ref decided that he had to put his hand (and ring) under the middle of my back (which was off the fucking mat!) and stop my roll. Theres my rant for the week. Bitter? Nah, my coach really is an ass though.

oh and id like to add Nascar as least manly as well, i know its mentally challenging, but then again why cant they turn both directions?
