I'm calling it now, but if the alleged next X-Men movie, X-Men: Supernova, comes to fruition with that title, they need to get Weird Al to sing the theme song to the tune of Oasis' mega-smash hit "Champagne Supernova."
Anyway, the next X-Men movie is supposed to be titled X-Men: Supernova and be more or less based on Chris Claremont & John Byrne's seminal run on the characters from 1976-1980. If you'll remember, they've already fucked this up on the big screen once before, so this will be a shot at redemption. James McAvoy may or may not be back, depending upon whom you believe, but this will likely continue the decade jump and be set in the 90s with a barely-aged-a-day assortment of actors from the First Class trilogy.
This brings me to my larger point. There needs to be a nod to Oasis somewhere in the new X-Men movie, which is allegedly beginning production in June even though there's no word on a script being written or anything at all being done in preparation for this start date. To the point at hand, however, throw Liam and Noel a bone and get them to re-record Champagne Supernova or whatever. Ooo, or, they could license out their catalog and let them do that trend where they take cheesy songs from the 80s and 90s and have someone sing them in a whisper voice...
20th Century Fox presents... some whispy female voice comes in singing, “Today is gonna be the day that they’re gonna throw it back to you."
