We're Probably Gonna Find Out What Han Pulled on Lando

null

When it was announced that the Han Solo movie was actually a Han and Chewie movie, the countdown began to the announcement of Lando Calrissian's involvement in the film. It's a no-brainer, and considering the continued lack of a Billy Dee reprisal in the main saga, better to keep the character's story going elsewhere—even if it is in the wrong direction. That's right folks, Lando's coming back to Star Wars via the Han Solo and Chewie movie due in 2018.

According to The Wrap, Lando's get thrust back into action in the upcoming prequel adventure starring Alden Ehrenreich. There's an active casting search underway for a character being referred to as "Chance," but which insiders know is actually Lando. I hope they know for sure, because this is Star Wars, not Guys and Dolls. We don't need characters named Chance being introduced at this point in the game.

I have the utmost faith in directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, as well as Lawrence Kasdan, so I know they'll figure out a better way to do it than Lucas ever would have. The question remains, do we need Lando in the movie? Normally my answer would be no, but come on, it's Lando! We need more Lando. And we need Donald Glover to play him.
