Yondu Reflects on His Life in New 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Portrait

null

San Diego Comic Con, aka Nerd Christmas, kicked off last night and Marvel is beside themselves with all the cool stuff they're going to be showing off this week. The first reveal was posted to their Twitter account yesterday and shows a portrait of Michael Rooker's Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, one which will apparently be seen hanging on a wall of his ship, The Eclector.

One of the biggest reveals about the film to date was that Yondu was actually going to be a part of the Guardians team in this adventure, and frankly that's one of the best decisions they could have made. Rooker was one of the highlights of the first film, and seeing his antagonistic relationship with Peter Quill continue into the next film is going to be a lot of fun. Plus the dude's got one of the coolest weapons ever, one which he used to slay a bunch of Kree before they even had time to think.

What do you guys think? Are you excited for more of this world class egotist's adventures alongside the team or are you one of those people who just doesn't like fun? Let us know in the comments section below!
