On July 7, 2017, you'll be able to stroll into your local multiplex and buy a ticket to see Spider-Man: Homecoming. With yesterday being one year until that date, star Tom Holland shared a Spidey-selfie on Instagram, giving us a pretty great look at the Spidey costume up close.
I have to say, this flick has one of the largest, most diverse casts we've seen in some time. Sure, all the major roles are played by white actors, but there's been no shortage of color blind casting on this film, which makes sense since it's set in New York City in the present. It's nice when every major casting announcement doesn't involve another white male getting another role in a film. Let's hope Marvel continues this trend going forward.
