One film that is constantly slipping under everyone's radar is the upcoming Kong: Skull Island, an attempt by Universal to bring one of its biggest stars into the 21st Century! We had heard a while back that the film was going to feature an ape that would tower over previous incarnations of King Kong, and this motion poster gives us some idea of just how big this beast is going to be.
So far, all we know about the film is that it's set in the early 70s and will be at least tangentially linked to another Legendary Pictures property, Godzilla, though the fact that the two films are set up at different studios may prove problematic for those excited about a potential King Kong v Godzilla movie. This motion poster, along with the production still seen above, both show an absolutely enormous ape skull, and hint at some huge adventures to come.
The film is scheduled for a panel this Saturday at which time they plan to unveil the first trailer for the film, which stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Samuel L. Jackson, and John C. Reilly, among others. Kong: Skull Island hits theaters on March 10, 2017.
