Normally when you question these Marvel supporting actors about their own starring vehicle, they begin pitching you exactly what they want their movie to be, as if they're sitting on the set of The Avengers dreaming of the day they'll get their big shot. Therefore, it comes as something of a breath of fresh air when Elizabeth Olsen got super nonchalant about the possibility of Scarlet Witch getting her own solo movie. Like super nonchalant.
While speaking with The Huffington Post (link below), Olsen didn't rule out the possibility of a solo Wanda Maximoff adventure, but she doesn't want to do one just to do one...
“It’s not something I’m opposed to, but it’s also something that has to make a lot of sense. I wouldn’t just do it just to do it. It’d have to make sense for how it advances in the world. But I’d be open to talking about it. I’d never say no to just an idea,” said Olsen.
"I'd never say no to just an idea" is one of the worst policies to have as an actor. That means you wouldn't say no to the idea of Scarlet Witch putting on her pink spandex from the comics? There are a lot of ideas worth saying no to, Liz. But I get it, never say never and all that.
