David Ayer's Casting Process for 'Suicide Squad' Sounds Like He's Taking the Casting Couch to New Places... Like the Forest

Apparently Jared Leto wasn't the only person involved with Suicide Squad who might end up on a sex offender registry by the time all the stories are disclosed. According to model turned actress Cara Delevingne, her audition process involved meeting director David Ayer who didn't tell her anything about the movie, showed her some dirty pictures, and then made her strip nude in the forest to howl at the moon. Seriously, how is this guy not on some sort of list?

In an interview with W Magazine (link below), Delevingne describes what I imagine has got to be a nightmare for most actresses... Being told that you're going on an audition only to end up naked in the woods with the director. When asked if she had to audition for the role, Delevingne revealed perhaps more information than Ayer would have liked her to...

Yes. I met the director, David Ayer, at a hotel in London on a dark and stormy night. He didn’t tell me anything about the movie. Instead, he showed me pictures of these amazing, enlightened, powerful, but very evil women. He spoke to me about addiction and mental illness, which are things I find very, very interesting. The next time I met David was at his house in L.A. He asked me to read a scene from Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? I love that play and had acted in it at school when I was 17, so I was excited. Somehow, when we were doing the scene, I became livid. I hadn’t felt rage like that in years. And then I got the part! There still wasn’t a script, but David asked me to go and try and find a forest and, if it was a full moon, get naked and walk through the woods with my feet in the mud, which I did. There wasn’t a full moon, but I howled like a wolf. It would have been really funny if someone had seen me.

So yeah, I don't know what this is exactly, but it sounds like the kind of thing Ayer would get off to. That or Jared Leto was pretending to be David Ayer. Could go either way with this crew.
