Hoping for some flash-forwards of old Harrison Ford in the planned Han Solo spinoff movie? Well, you're out of luck, because Harrison Ford has straight up said he's not interested. According to Bleeding Cool, when someone asked him at the Star Wars: The Force Awakens press conference in London, he gave a hard pass on the idea:
As far as the movie featuring a young Han Solo. I…(laughs) I don’t know what to think about that. I’m glad that somebody else is is going to have the burden of being young. It’s well beyond my understanding or control and I personally want nothing to do with it, in the nicest possible way. I know it will be well done and well guided. And, um, it’s nothing to do with me.
It's widely known that Ford wanted Lucas to kill off Han Solo in Return of the Jedi, so Ford washing his hands of the franchise isn't a shock to Force Fans. However, he DID reportedly have a great time on the set of The Force Awakens. He also said this at the press conference:
I have actually relished this entire experience in a way I was not anticipating and a lot of that is thanks to JJ and Larry [Kasdan]. This is a rare experience in my old life and I’m very grateful for it.
I've seen The Force Awakens twice now, and no spoilers, but HOLY DAMN even old Han Solo makes my ladybits all fluttery. Good luck finding someone with that much charisma for the young Han Solo film, Abrams. The only man in Hollywood with that kind of charm right now is Chris Pratt. And he's a year older than Ford was when he played Solo for the first time, so he's out.
But seriously, he would be perfect. Look at this:
...I'll be in my bunk.
